There are two different types of errors when Twitter shows the message «We’ve temporarily limited some of your account features».
1. Time Remaining
1.1 In most cases, this error occurs mainly on
- Accounts in the early days of their Owlead subscription with Medium, Pro, or Agency plans.
- Accounts that exceed the actions (follows/unfollows) allowed by Twitter.
Bear in mind that Owlead respects Twitter’s daily limit of actions, so please avoid following or unfollowing aggressively while using Owlead.
1.2 Insights about this message
- It’s not harmful to your account; it isn’t related to a long-term ban.
- The limitation, in most cases, doesn’t last three days. They discard it the same day.
- Some of our customers received these messages 2-3 times in a short period, and they are still using their accounts and gaining many followers with our service.
- After Twitter restores your account, you may see you are following 0 accounts. Twitter will be automatically reverted by Twitter in a couple of hours, and your following will be the same as before this message.
1.3 We’ll take the following safety measures
- Your account will enter our cool-down process (it won’t follow for 24 hours)
- After those 24 hours, the re-establishment process will be activated for your account.
If you receive this message, please:
- Don’t panic.
- Keep using your Twitter normally. We’ll take care of the warm-up.
- Owlead will let you know if it needs more information from your side to keep running.
If this is happening more than once per week in your account and you are running one of our Owlead Blue subscriptions:
Try downgrading your subscription to our regular unlimited plan for a month and attempting an upgrade afterward.
2. Verify Phone Number
2.1 In most cases, this error occurs mainly when
Twitter suspects that your account is using a third-party app to automate tasks.
2.2 Insights about this message
- It’s not harmful to your account, and currently, it isn’t related to a long-term ban if you act as soon as they notify you.
- The limitation is removed as soon as you verify your identity.
- Some of our customers received these messages 2-3 times in a short period and are still using their accounts and gaining lots of followers with our service.
- After Twitter restores your account, you may see you are following 0 accounts. Twitter will be automatically reverted by Twitter in a couple of hours, and your following will be the same as before this message.
2.3 We’ll take the following safety measures:
- Your campaigns will be paused.
- We’ll be checking your account to see if you have taken action.
- As soon as you verify your account, your campaigns will be resumed.
